Social film maker Hrishikesh Pandey adopts new name “Hrishi”

The country’s sole social filmmaker Hrishi, making dozens of videos on social issues.

Director-producer-writer and music director Hrishikesh Pandey wants to strengthen his identity as a social film maker. Now he will be known only by the name of Hrishi, he announced this recently. Indeed, he says that another person named Hrishikesh Pandey is in the film world because of which sometimes a misunderstanding arose, so to avoid this know he will be known as Hrishi.

Hrishi has worked on several powerful social campaigns dedicated to Indore City and India. In July last year, he directed the video song ‘School Chale Hum’ for Madhya Pradesh government. He believes that “filmmakers are mirrors of society, I take the responsibility to work on social issues. I am trying to bring out small social issues through social video, and I hope that Society can be awakened. To help in the development of our country, I started with a video song ‘School Chale Hum’, singer Shaan sang it, I compose & written it. Right now, I made another video song open on the issue of defecation, it is the main social issue of open defection, we have started this campaign in Indore and I am very happy that Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is supporting Prime Minister Modi’s Swachh Bharat Mission”. In the video made by Hrishi, a message is being given to the people to stop the habit of going toilet in open.

Film producer, director and musician Hrishi also write lyrics. In his production house, Hrishi has been highlighting Indore city for many issues in India, bus service, blood donation, organ donation, road safety and helmets, women empowerment and women’s respect, many videos have been produced. That is why it would be better to give him the title of a social film maker. He is born in Panna of Madhya Pradesh where diamonds are found and Rishi himself is like a diamond in the film world as a maker, composer and rapper.
